Ergonomics optimization in the workplace

Effectively prevent neck and shoulder problems, headaches and performance problems
Ergonomie
Sitting work, standing for long periods of time and monotonous movements at the workplace often lead to incorrect strain, poor posture and possible occupational illness in the musculoskeletal system. The employer therefore has the opportunity to provide employees with ergonomics advice individually or as a team by appointing an occupational health professional as part of a workplace inspection. Short interventions with the medical BMS device provide immediate relief and round off my offer. Optimizing posture, work equipment, light and air conditions have a long-term impact on the performance and productivity of your employees!

Occupational safety under COVID-19

After the anti-corona measures were relaxed, a “new normal” is now slowly returning to many companies. But right now, company medical expertise is important if, on the one hand, the new spread of the virus in your own company is to be prevented and, on the other hand, normal operations are to be resumed. Occupational health care must be based on the risk assessment. Since individual aspects (e.g. assessment for risk groups) often play a role in times of pandemic, it is particularly important that the company doctor is involved in the risk assessment. The focus of occupational health care is on advice and strategy development. This can also be done by telephone or video conference.

Healthy employees - resilience training

Only a healthy employee is a strong employee! ;-)
Gesundheit
Having resilience means being resilient on a neurobiological level. In the professional environment, there are a variety of factors that have a psychological and mental strain on employees. Mental disorders have increased noticeably in recent years; one in three disability pensions are now due to mental illnesses. According to the concept of holistic occupational health care, we should deal with the negative psychomental factors that the realities of the new world of work and digitalization bring with them. In order to be able to react to this preventively, I recommend that we look together at the essential and very exciting aspects of neurobiology, chronomedicine and resilience research and generate insights for yourself and your team.

WHEN WORK MAKES YOU SICK

Work can make you sick. But which diseases are actually considered occupational diseases and where is there a need for action?
Occupational diseases are clearly defined in accordance with Section 177 ASVG and must be reported by the doctor. Nevertheless, it is often unclear whether an illness is recognized as an occupational disease (this also currently applies to those affected by Covid-19 with long-term consequences in the company). Here, occupational medicine is required to advise the employer and employee in detail and to find out the causes of illness through workplace evaluation and, if necessary, toxicological or iffectiological examinations, as well as to establish a connection to the professional environment, which may have led to occupational disability. An occupational medical report can be prepared and presented to AUVA.

Healthy examination in the company

Blutabnahme
I carry out the annual health check-up for all employees in your company professionally and with sensitivity. The Labors.at laboratory team is available to take blood samples. If desired, the spectrum of laboratory diagnostics can be expanded and include a different health prevention focus each year. E.g. cardiovascular check, diabetes & metabolism, allergies & intolerances, hormones & micronutrients, vaccination status & Covid-19 infection status, etc. Doctor costs: The basic services of the GU (laboratory, status survey, evaluation discussion) are billed directly to the doctor. Additions such as ECG, LuFu, hearing test, vision test, dermatological mole check are charged separately. The costs for the optional additional laboratory can either be borne by the employee or (partially) covered by the company.
